Adrian Van Loon
Adrian is entering into his 18th year in the bicycle industry, 13 as proprietor of Ride Bellerive. Under his guidance, Ride has developed into the No. 1 stop for people seeking no-hype advice on all their bicycle needs. Adrian likes to call a spade a shovel and is always happy to share his extensive knowledge to get you onto the right bike and out onto the road.
Jase is one of our mechanics. With a lost number of years in the saddle, he has excelled in downhill, 4Cross, XCO and is also a regular on the Roadie. He is the go-to man for giving your XC stead or DH rig the love and attention we all know they need. Forks, rear suspension, and hub servicing are his daily bread and butter – there’s no one in Hobart who does more.
Stu comes to us after spending 6 years as head mechanic for Cycling Australia’s High Performance Programs. He worked with Olympic and Commonwealth Games Road, Track, Mountain Bike and BMX competitors. And has worked with no less than SIX world champions! He’s one of the few trained Campagnolo mechanics in the country, so if you’re looking for someone to give your Signora some attention Stu’s the man
Jay first worked in the industry many years ago, then went off to explore other jobs. Now he’s back on the tools at Ride Bellerive and loving it! He is our resident ‘fixie’ nut, loves the obscure and loves to get bikes back on the road. Whatever the challenge, he the man to put it right.
